I love this app

On my iPhone 4s

This app allows me to listen to my MP3 books with way more control. Previously I had them on iTunes but then I would have, for example, a one track book that was 1 plus hour long. The problem here is that in iTunes that means its on one track. So it is very hard to slide the position locator to any precise location. As well if you closed I tunes the track went back to default at the beginning. Horrible to listen to mp3s for books. This app allows you to skip back and forward by 15 seconds, has speed control, it remembers where you last finished off even if you close the app. Other features I use are the bookmarks and landscape orientation. Im writing this review because there wasnt any reviews posted yet and so I had to buy the app to see if it worked. (Which I hate doing because you often get a crap app and no refunds) So just letting you know if you want an app (like audible) that works on you own mp3s this works. I would like to suggest that one additional option would be great addition to this appand that is to have cue points with loop function. E.g. You get to a spot on the track and you press (A) and it is stored and then when you get farther along you press (B). This becomes the second cue point to be remembered. Now ideally you would be able to select: play between (A) and (B) and then the player stops or you would be able to have a continuously loop between the cue points. Oh and feel free to add fine tune pitch control. :-) Thanks for the app it really helps me out and I love it. Highly recommend! Using iPhone 6 running IOS 9

One of the best apps for audiobooks. The only missing thing is availability for audible (.aa) format.

lve used dozens upon dozens of MP3 players, but none as nice as this one. Its quick and easy to drag-and-drop MP3 files and folders. I use the player for audiobooks, but also for foreign language lessons. You can speed up or slow down the audio with no loss of sound quality. you can jump forward or back or pause the playback. I also have files of environmental sounds I play at night to help me fall asleep. I have extensive music files I like to listen to. Its easy to toggle back and forth between files. The player remembers your place so you dont have to. I use both the free version and the paid version. Since discovering these fine players, Ive never had any need (or desire) to use any others.

No fuss, no problems. This is a nice simple audiobook player. Only thing I would like to see added is a ~10-20 sec Fast Forward/Rewind button.

Works great and developers are responsive. Easy to customize the seek time (so say you want to jump forward or back 10sec, you can do so easily from headphones or car stereo controls). Also nice clean interface, and easy to import entire folders.

This is exactly what I needed, thank you for making such a wonderful app. I really like how it saves my place in the audiobook and continues to play on opening. Very convenient when listening in the car over Bluetooth. I can leave my phone in my pocket and continue seamlessly wherever I go. Saves a lot of hassle from dealing with iTunes sync- I can just drop files into the app. This app is perfect and Worth every penny!!!

I have tried them all and bought most of the full versions. This is the only one that will always pick up where I left off.

Had the free version and hit the 12 hour limit. Couldnt upgrade from that version (errors) so I manually purchased the full version. Books are not moved over so I have to reinstall all of them. PITA Other than the initial problem all is well. Easy upload, works great.

While you are listening to your book you cannot do anything else on your device. As soon as you want to open another app, the player stops. It wont work in the background so you can surf the web or play a game while listening to your book. Dont buy this, very frustrating

It worked for a few days; then it stopped. When I tried to use it, the screen was blank and nothing happened.

I listen to a bunch of seminars and books and this is the perfect app for these. Love the variable 15sec forward or backwards button. Very very helpful. DEVELOPER: Please add bookmark button on the Apple Watch! Great great work!

I listen to a lot of audio books and this is by far the best app for MP3 formatted books I borrow from the library. Does not lose your place. But it also does have bookmarking just in case I do something to lose my place. You can go backward and forward 15 seconds at a time if you want to play back something. Jump between tracks and a slider to fine tune your position. Exceptionally easy to transfer photos from my PC to phone or iPad. You do not need overdrive to do the transfer and iTunes does not need to convert the format.

Even though both the iBooks app (as of iOS 8.4) and the Audible.com Audiobook player are supposed to play custom MP3 audiobooks, they do it poorly. iBooks insists on calling all the books "Track 1", "Track 2", etc instead of by their actual names. And Audible calls every book "Part 0", a bug that has been around for a while now. MP3 Audiobook Player does a great job playing custom MP3 audiobooks. Not only does it have all the features of the other players, but it also handles the files extremely well, properly displaying the names and sorting them as intended.

Works well but can someone tell me how I remove the jpeg files from my ipod. I see that you swipe and delete the audio files, but the jpegs are left behind. Cant read the web site so thats no help... Thanks

It works nicely. I would like to be able to change audio speed from the playback window and larger "rw, jump back, play, jump fwd, ff" controls, but after purchased about 6-8 other apps, this one does what I need it to do (where the others make putting your own audiobooks I tot he app difficult or impossible).
